This page provides links to, or downloads for, various forms that our volunteers may need as part of their role.

Chief Scouts Awards

• Register Acorn, Bronze or Silver Chief Scout Awards
• Register Gold, Platinum or Diamond Chief Scout Awards, Young Leader Belts, Youthshape or King’s Scout Awards

Section leaders fill out the appropriate form to register that a Young Person has completed their Chief Scouts Awards so the young person can be invited to the celebrating success event for their section.

Duke of Edinburgh

• Registration – With effect from 1st June 2022, we are only able to accept electronic registrations and payments. paper forms, cheques and cash are no longer accepted. Please complete the registration form in the link ‘Registration‘

Nights Away

• Complete a Form NAN Online
• Download a Printable Form NAN – (It’s recommended that you download and install the Scouts font beforehand)
• Nights Away Event Passport form
• Nights Away Permit Application (or Renewal) Form (Downloads immediately)

Young Leaders

• Young Leader Volunteering Enquiry – If a young person is looking to Volunteer as a Young Leader either as part of the Explorer Scouts YL provision or short term as a Duke of Ediburgh placement and doesn’t already have a group (or would like district to try to place them elsewhere) they can use the membership enquiry form to request the district try to place them with a group.
• Young Leader Registration – If a young leader has made contact with a group (via district placement above, or directly) , they need to be registered with the district Mafeking Young Leader’s Unit, please use this form to register them:- Young Leader Registration Form (Editable & Printable)
