SUMMARY:Squirrel Appreciation Day
DESCRIPTION:Squirrel Appreciation Day is an annual event celebrated on January 21st to recognize these furry creatures\, encourage learning about them\, and promote their well-being by providing food or shelter\, a tradition started in 2001 by wildlife rehabilitator Christy Hargrove. People celebrate by observing squirrels in parks\, leaving out treats like nuts\, creating squirrel-themed art\, or simply learning about their vital roles in ecosystems\, especially for conserving native species like the Red Squirrel in the UK.  \n\n\n\nEach Drey to organise its own event to celebrate the Red Squirrel.
